As the name of the course suggests, I expect all of you to have carefully thought about the gadgets or device necessary for this course.I'd like to believe that you will find the BYOD concept interesting as most educators in favor of it feel it promotes greater participation in the classroom.May we journey together on this course in terms of the sharing of our lived experienced regarding BYOD in the classroom.The loaded content on this course has provided you with numerous technological devices and sites that will help to broaden up your understanding towards BYOD and ICT at large. In the programme, we will have five topics: Conceptualizing BYOD,assumed benefits of BYOD,addressing relevant questions based on the use of BYOD in schools and question and answer sessions or activity briefs .Activity briefs will be at the end of the programme,you will have to click on the programmed links in order to have an access to a variety forms of assessments. Clarity seeking questions,unique contributions on the course or recommendations on certain aspects can be shared on a discussion board as it will also assist to promote collaborative learning.
